Singles & Doubles titles for Joel Good at Chesham Bois Grade 3

Joel Good showcased his improving game with a brace of titles this week at the Chesham Bois LTA Grade 3 tournament this week.

In the Open Mens Singles final against fellow Everyballer and AGS student Dan Dean, Joel came through 7-6, 6-4 and then teamed up with Ben Smith (also of Halton/Everyball & Eton) to win the 18&U Boys doubles.  (See Ben and Joel pictured below)

Well done also to Calum Fairey in reaching the final of the 14&U boys event and for Calum Fairey and Josh Bright getting to the 14&U Boys doubles final.

Congrats to each Everyball player in the event with all competing well and many making good progress within their respective events.

Hi Mike, just a small correction Ollie made the semis of the 18s event and the semis of the 16s dubs with Daniel. Was a good week for the Everyballers who all represented themselves and the club superbly. Sarah
Thanks Sarah - stand corrected. Yes, it was 3rd and 4th play-off that I read as consolation final. Apologies again, more speed less haste required on my part. Most importantly however, delighted to hear how well the players represented themselves and the club - thanks for that feedback.
Congratulations to Joel and all the Everyball players. I agree with Sarah that they were a credit to the club, not only in their efforts on court but also in how well they supported one another. It really was great to see and reflects so very well on all the coaching staff at Halton.
